We'll let you know what information you'll need to provide, and how soon you can expect to receive your report. 

Although you may be confident that you have no mortgage capacity, as our duty is to the court we still have to ask you relevant questions about your finances, as these will be highlighted within the report. 

 Age

• Month and year of birth

Dependents

• Number of children and their ages (even if they won't live with you)
• Number of any dependent adults that will live with you

Earned income

• Self-employed: last 3 years net profits
• Employed: basic salary, plus any car allowance / bonus / commission / overtime 
• Company director: last 3 years salary & dividends, as well as company net profits AFTER corporation tax

Other income

• Any state benefits or allowances
• Child benefit payments 
• Current or expected child maintenance
• Current or expected spousal maintenance
• Pension income received
• Rental income from buy-to-let properties: last 2 years net profits

Commitments you'll remain liable for after the settlement (amount outstanding / cost per month)

• Other mortgages
• Credit cards
• Loans / HP / car lease

Any other commitments you'll remain liable for after the settlement

• School fees - how much and for how long
• Child maintenance - how much and for how long  
• Spousal maintenance - how much and for how long 

Deposit 

• Estimated amount of deposit after the settlement

Credit history

• Details of any credit problems in the last 6 years, i.e. CCJ's, defaults, missed payments 
• Details of any bankruptcy or house repossession

• Information provided in the report will be based upon lending criteria at that time
