We will then confirm what information you'll need to provide us with, which will likely include the following:

 Your age

  • Month and year of birth


Dependents

  • Number of children and their ages 
  • Number of any dependent adults that will live with you


Income

  • Employed - Basic salary, plus any car allowance / bonus / commission / overtime 
  • Self-employed - Last 3 years net profits
  • Company director - Last 3 years salary & dividends, as well as company net profits AFTER corporation tax


Other income as applicable

  • Child benefit payments 
  • Any other state benefits or allowances (tax credits / universal credits etc)
  • Current or expected child maintenance
  • Current or expected spousal maintenance
  • Pension income (if already being received)
  • Rental income from buy-to-let properties: last 2 years net profits


Commitments you'll remain liable for after the settlement (amount outstanding / cost per month)

  •  Pension contributions deducted from payslips    
  • Other mortgages
  • Credit cards
  • Loans / HP / car lease


Any other commitments you'll remain liable for after the settlement

  • School fees
  • Child care costs
  • Child maintenance
  • Spousal maintenance


Deposit 

  • The estimated amount of funds you'll have for a house deposit


Credit history

  • Details of any credit problems in the last 6 years, i.e. CCJ's, defaults, missed payments 
  • Details of any bankruptcy or house repossession
  • IVA / Debt management plan (total debt outstanding and cost per month)


PLEASE NOTE:

  • When compiling the report our duty is to the court - to be independent and impartial
  • Information provided in the report will be based upon lending criteria at that time
  • The report will state the information that the assessment was based on
